Valves and valve trims help make the perfect custom shower system. This approach allow you to use as many different components as your hot water heater(s) can handle. I found this information right on the Kohler website “As a rule, assume that 75% of the water in a shower will be hot water. This means three showerheads flowing at 2.5 gallons per minute for 10 minutes would use approximately 56 gallons of hot water.
