Temperature control valves and trim.  Showerheads, arms and bodysprays. Valves and valve trims help make the perfect custom shower system. This approach allow you to use as many different components as your hot water heater(s) can handle. I’m not an expert on hot water heaters and/or sizing them. I found this information right on the Kohler website “As a rule, assume that 75% of the water in a shower will be hot water. This means three showerheads flowing at 2.5 gallons per minute for 10 minutes would use approximately 56 gallons of hot water.
