Kohler Shows New Collection of Katalyst Rainheads at KBIS

Kohler Faucets continues to enhance its leading showering offering with the introduction of the KOHLER Rainhead collection at the 2010 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show.

The new KOHLER Rainhead collection delivers the most comprehensive offering of rain showerheads available in the market today, providing an affordable and scalable showering solution that coordinates designs and finishes with the rest of the KOHLER faucets and accessories. This extensive offering makes it easy for the design professional to select products that coordinate throughout the shower space. The collection initially includes three designs in 8-, and 10-inch sizes, with plans to further expand the offering in the near future. The three designs are: contemporary round, contemporary square and traditional round.

Rain showerheads simulate the experience of natural rain fall with large, heavy water droplets guided by gravity as opposed to pushed by water pressure. This gives the user a natural intense hydrotherapy experience and has quickly become one of the most sought after alternative showering experiences, making it almost a must-have for all custom showering environments.

Constructed from solid brass, all KOHLER Rainheads feature Katalyst spray technology with a novel air induction ball joint design to generate large water droplets that deliver a luxurious and drenching experience without using more water than a standard showerhead. Engineered to provide a quiet and soothing shower and superior water coverage through a redesigned spray face, Katalyst technology enhances the benefits of the Rainhead experience to create a completely satisfying shower.

All new KOHLER Rainheads are equipped with MasterClean spray faces with new translucent nozzles to resist mineral build up and provide ease of cleaning. New 6- and 12-inch-long ceiling-mount shower arms are also available to accommodate a greater range of ceiling heights.
