The Quickest Way to Clean a Shower

There are many ways to clean a shower. As with anything else, a little bit each day will give you the best results. I have found the best way is to use a handshower. When handshowers were first introduced they had only 1 spray function. Today, almost all handshowers are multi-functioning with several different

types of spray. Until now all handshowers have been built using a single sprayface. I’ve seen up to 9 different functions on a single handshower sprayface on a brand called Ondine. Ondine had the largest selection of handshowers and accessories, but they are hard to find and I’m not sure they are still made. The last I’ve seen they were bought by Water Pik, Inc in October 2007.

Anyone can install a handshower. You can install one in place of your existing showerhead, or as an addition to your existing showerhead. If installing in place of your existing shower, simply unscrew the showerhead from your shower arm and thread on a shower hose that will lead to the shower arm. Many new handheld showers can be purchased as a kit that include the handspray, shower hose any brackets to hold the handshower assembly to shower arm were to the wall. Kohler handshowers are available in almost every finish and a style that matches most of Kohler’s faucet series. Handshowers can be installed in less than 10 minutes and is another improvement, you can do your self, and do it for less.
